We have experienced first hand,the inefficiency that exists in the process of meeting hiring needs for our investment firms. we've spent hours pouring over resumes, conducting interviews, reviewing sample research of prospective candidates for employment. we've participated in the disconnect of paying exorbitant fees to executive recruiters in order to shortcut this process, but still did all the work and received often, potentially sub-par candidates. we both have initiated intern, extern and educational initiatives to close the gap, the risk to an employer, that exists in hiring prospective research staff that is not rooted in defining what is "important" or what matters or is "urgent". Quadrant 1 is the culmination of this journey and is the vehicle by which we can assist prospective asset management employers to hire more tangibly formidable candidates for research jobs.

Quadrant 1’s mission is to fix the inefficiency that exists in the process of meeting hiring needs. Currently, firms spend countless hours collecting and sorting through resumes or pay exorbitant fees to executive recruiters in order to shortcut the process. In the end, the firm ends up with an inexperienced candidate or pays a premium for a candidate who has built up experience elsewhere.


We believe it is possible to hire high quality candidates with demonstrated ability to do the job at a reasonable cost and in a timely fashion. 

We take our name, Quadrant 1, from that quadrant of a Cartesian logic graph  where Quadrant 1 is the intersection of the urgent and the important. Quadrant 1 is managed by seasoned investment pros, Keith Weissman and Peter Lupoff. Quadrant 1's mission is to facilitate  more successful, accretive and effective hires for less.
